Our Family Travel Plans 2018

Apologies for the radio silence recently. Life has got in the way and blogging has had to take a back seat. However, you will be pleased to know that we have been busy thinking about our travel plans for the year and I am getting a little bit excited. Last year we had a fantastic time with Eurocamp in Venice and the boys loved the swimming pools and slides. Then in the summer we headed to Gran Canaria for a relaxing week at the end of the summer.

February will see my husband turning 40 and as part of his Birthday present we are having a weekend at Center Parcs with the boys. We have only visited once before and that was before the arrival of little man so we are hoping that the boys will love the activities. I am currently deciding just how much we should book up. I want it to be relaxing and fun, not a scheduled nightmare. Luckily one of my friends is a Center Parcs pro so she is helping me out with my 1000 questions. If you have any hints and tips then please let me know in the comments.

Later in the year we are off to Thailand. It is a place that I have always wanted to visit. Unfortunately as the boys are in tow we couldn’t quite fit in everything we wanted to do and Chaing Mai has had to be on the list for if when we go back. We are going to be spending 3 nights in Bangkok followed by a more relaxing week in Koh Samui. I am currently trying to decide what are the must sees and do’s in each place. Again, if you have been and have some tips, they are very much welcome.

The rest of the year is a little bit of unknown at the moment. Mainly as my husband wont have that much holiday left and not much money either! We have Merlin passes, and the boys are keen to visit Alton Towers again, but with their recent changes to the standard passes, that might be harder to fit in than I had wanted. Either way, there will be some day trips. Middle man has reluctantly agreed that he will ride the vampire when he is 8 (so in a few weeks) and I am still working on big man and the idea of Stealth. He is currently just under 1.4m so I am sure that by the end of the season he will be tall enough, but I am not sure that he will trust me that it is good!

So these are our plans so far. Hints and tips very much welcomed. What travel have you got planned?
