Monthly Massage With The Massage Company

The massage company hot stones massage

Have you ever considered the concept of a monthly massage? No I haven’t either. I have always thought of a massage as a treat. Something I would get as a gift. Apparently this is a normal way of thinking for us Brits. But not for many. In many places a regular massage is seen as a way of looking after yourself. So here lies the concept of The Massage Company.

The Massage Company is based in Camberley in Surrey. I was invited to pop along and see what the facilities were like. The Massage Company is a couple of minutes walk from the Atrium Car Park. On entry you are greeted by a bright reception.

For your first massage you need to arrive 10 minutes before your massage to fill out a consultation form. You are taken my your massage therapist to your room. Here they will talk to you about any areas of the form that are relevant and discuss what you would like. They offer upgrades to the standard massage which include hot stones, scalp massage and foot treatment. As I had mentioned I would like to relax the therapist recommended the aromatherapy option.

If you sometimes treat yourself to a massage then you will know that they can really vary. I have to say, no word of a lie, this was one of the best massages that I have had. The bed was heated and comfortable and the massage was just the right pressure. I also liked the colour changing diffuser that was placed underneath the face cradle. Much better than looking at the floor!

After my massage the therapist spoke to me about the massage. She highlighted my main problem area and advised that I should sit at a desk to use the computer. I can now say that I am doing this as I type! She also recommended that if I choose to go back then I should try the hot stones.

Anyone is able to visit the massage company and they have a fantastic introductory offer of £39.95 for a 50 minute massage. Trust me when you are having the massage you will come out wanting to sign up! Full membership is £44.95 a month if you sign up for 12 months. I was really impressed with their flexibility. If you miss a month then you can have two the following. Or if necessary you could gift one to a friend. However, as £44.95 a month is a big commitment to some, then their is a Flexi membership addresses this and gives you a chance to see if you want to sign up for longer. This is currently £54.95 a month.

Massage is proven to reduce stress and raise energy levels so I really like the idea of incorporating a regular massage into my life. If you live nearby I would recommend that you see for yourself, what The Massage Company is like by taking their introductory offer. And don’t think it is just for women either. 30% of their members are men. You can find more out about The Massage Company by visiting their website.

  3. Is it wrong to say I would probably push an old granny out of the way for a massage right now? It has been YEARS since I had one! I had been thinking I needed to join a boxing gym, but in actual fact a massage would work so much better! Awesome gift idea! Sim x #TriedTested

  4. Oh my days!!! This looks and sounds amazing. I have had such a mixed experience with massages in the past, so I’m so reluctant to spend money on them…if only I lived in Surrey, hey? I’m a qualified massage therapist, but I always, always wish it was me having the massage rather than giving it ,which I think makes me sound awful! #TriedTested Esther xx

  5. Oh this sounds just divine!
Massage is the type of thing that we do when we go away on holiday, so once a year if we’re lucky and it is always soooooo relaxing. I hadn’t really thought of it as something to do at home. You’ve made me think otherwise!
    Lovely review
