Tattershall Farm Park is a hidden gem in the Lincolnshire countryside. We have been a number of times over the last few years and each time it gets better. Prices are reasonable, meaning that I am happy to pay for a few hours and the boys have always had fun.
On our most recent visit to Tattershall Farm Park this August we went to see one of the Falconry shows. This isn’t something we had experienced there before and was a lovely addition to our visit. This gorgeous owl flew over our heads whilst the falconer talked about him. Obviously owls eat chicks and those with smaller children were warned and advised to sit further away.
When you enter the park it is worth taking note of the various timings of events. These are worth doing and planning around.
This time we arrived in time to walk goats. I really enjoyed this as we had a new Mum whose babies were following close to her.
We had a quick look around the reptile enclose which was just being finished, before middle man stroked a ferret that relived itself on him.
When it comes to purchasing food, the carrots and 4 legged animal feed are best to go for. My boys always enjoy feeding the animals.
Add some soft play and bouncy pillows into the mix and you have a lovely day out.
