Jurassic Golf at Wokingham Family Golf

Jurrasic Golf

Over half term we visited Jurassic Golf at Wokingham Family Golf in Berkshire. We have previously played Foot Golf there which was good fun, so when I saw a Groupon offer for this dinosaur themed adventure mini golf I thought I would give it a try.

The Jurrasic Golf course has 12 holes. As the name suggests there are dinosaurs dotted around the course and to make it even more fun for the kids some of them move and make noises. The course was varied with slopes, angles and a loop the loop where I somehow managed to get a hole in one. It was a fluke, although I may have claimed it was skill at the time.

Playing Jurassic Golf

When we visited the course wasn’t that busy (as it was a pretty miserable day and rain was imminent.) We therefore had as many goes as we needed to get our ball in the hole. However, it is suggested on the score cards that you should move on after 6 attempts. The 12th hole is particularly hard as it is on a slope and includes a maze.

All the boys enjoyed the course and the dinosaurs certainly helped keep them entertained. Little man struggled as he is only 4, but the price for under 5’s reflects that they may find it a little harder.

If you are looking for something to do in Berkshire in the summer holidays then this will easily fill an hour and is fun for adults too. It is worth noting that children under 14 need to be accompanied by an adult. If you have older children then I would really recommend the Foot Golf course here as well.

  2. My kids LOVE mini golf, and there are some amazing places here. Love the look of this one though, the boys would love the dinosaurs 🙂 #countrykids

  3. We last had a go while away in Brighton as Nick has decided he’s like to build one at Coombe Mill. The thing is, I think it needs all the fun and professionalism of a course like this one in Berkshire to really work. We might struggle on the dinosaurs but I bet he will get creative. Playing is so much harder than it looks, my 12 year old’s still get really cross and cheat. Well done on your hole in one, that is something to shout about!
