Spring is in the air and this weekend we went for an afternoon stroll around California Country Park in Finchampstead, Wokingham. It was a perfect opportunity to take some pictures of the clothes I had been gifted by Simply Be to update my spring wardrobe.
Now that I work part time, clothes shopping is easier said than done. I have started using online shopping more, but had never tried Simply Be. This is something that I need to change as they have a large range of sizes, and petite range that I often struggle to get in the shops. I would say that their clothes were on the generous side, and found the reviews from other customers really helpful.
Leopard print has been popular for a while now. I have to say that I am a little late to the party, but I am pleased that I have finally arrived! The casual Lepoard print star sweatshirt is perfect for spring days when the weather is all hot one minute and cold the next. I also love this Lepoard print belt. It was one size but needed an extra hole putting in. I would say that with jeans or smart trousers it is subtle and stylish.
Denim is of course a wardrobe staple, and these petite blue everyday skinny jeans are affordable as well as comfortable. It is always nice to know where to get an everyday pair of jeans that fit, without trying on pair after pair in the changing rooms!
Neutral colours are big this spring. Unfortunately, beige is not my colour but I love these pastel pink Adidas daily trainers. They are perfect to a bright spring day teamed with skinny jeans and I am sure they will look just as good in the summer when I have swopped to shorts.
So with my new Spring wardrobe on, we explored California Country Park in the Spring. It is perfect for children as there is a path around the lake so they can take their scooters or bikes.
There is a lovely cafe and play park. There is a smaller pirate ship and slides for younger children. For older ones is a wooden one to explore with climbing nets and zip wires.
The path circles a lake which is beautiful. We were even lucky enough to see this swan in its nest. Hopefully next time we visit we will see some cygnets.
What are your spring wardrobe essentials? Have you been on a spring stroll yet?
