BubbleBum Inflatable Booster For Family Travel

BubbleBum Inflatable Booster

If you are hiring a car this summer then the BubbleBum¬†inflatable booster seat is worth looking into. When we took little man on holiday several years ago we were pretty appalled by the extra cost of a car seat. As we visited both Florida and Michigan we were charged each time, missing out on the capped charges that we would have received if we had just stayed in one location. At the time he was only 9 months and required a proper baby car seat. I can’t say that I was happy with the seats provided. They were old, dirty and we had no idea if we were fitting them correctly.

Now the children are older I am happy to say there is an alternative to hiring car seats with our hire car. The inflatable BubbleBum Booster seat is a fraction of the cost and is lightweight and easily to fit onto your luggage.

As we are visiting Costa Rica this summer, we are packing ours for little man. Whilst we haven’t any hire car travel booked at the moment, we do have a number of private transfers and I would much rather have peace of mind that he is travelling safely if we take this for him.

One other great use of the BubbleBum is for fitting three children in the back of the car. My husband currently has an Audi A6. We are unable to fit three high backed boosters across the back seat. On the few occasions that my husband has needed to transport the boys, he has had to put one of them in the front seat. Now thanks to the Bubblebum they can all fit across the back of the car. Here is little man testing it out!

Full instructions are written on the back of the packaging and the strap for the seatbelt can be adjusted according to height.

For short journeys and for using in hire cars this summer, then I think the BubbleBum is a good buy. It takes up minimal space and could save you a fortune. You can purchase the BubbleBum inflatable booster seat from Amazon and it is currently available in black or pink.

Where are you travelling to this Summer? Is this something that you think would help?

  5. These are such a good idea. There are numerous times when a booster seat would come in useful while out and about. They are only a bit more expensive than a normal booster too. I may have to get two of these.#TriedTested

The money you would save if you hire a car abroad just makes so much sense. And great as a spare too as they don’t take up loads of space.
